State to hold majority stake in five telecom enterprises
GP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has signed Decision 55/2011/QĐ-TTg listing the number of State-owned telecom enterprises that the State will hold the majority stake.
These enterprises include VNPT, VIETTEL, VISHIPEL, GTEL, and Indochina Telecom.
The Government chief has also requested the Ministry of Information and Communications to coordinate with relevant ministries and sectors to draft the supplementation and adjustment of the list.
The Decision will take effect from December 1, 2011.
