Earlier, the
agreements between Việt Nam and Saudi Arabia as well as Việt Nam and Tunisia
were separately inked in Riyadh on April 10, 2010 and in Tunis on April 13,
2010 respectively.
The signing of double taxation
avoidance agreements with Saudi Arabia and Tunisia is to boost trade and
investment linkages and generate transparent legal climate for investment and
business activities between the two sides.
The agreements also target to
prevent trade frauds and evasion levied on income and assets./.
