VN, Bulgaria beef up comprehensive relations

PM Dung highly valued the outcomes of the talks between Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev and his Vietnamese counterpart Truong Tan Sang.
He affirmed that the Vietnamese Government would spare no effort to effectively fulfill agreements reached during the Bulgarian President's visit, which began the same day.
Viet Nam, said the host leader, treasures and hopes to shake hands with Bulgaria to cement and deepen the bilateral ties and elevate it to a new height in the future.
PM Dung suggested the two sides push up economic, trade and investment cooperation and strengthen linkages in energy, high-tech, pharmacy, food processing, education as well as military technology.
The host leader recommended the two sides create favorable conditions for enterprises and investors to exchange information and study respective market.
For his part, President Rosen Plevneliev underscored that Bulgaria wants to accelerate multifaceted ties with Viet Nam.
According to the guest leader, as there are wide doors for further cooperation, the two countries should enhance cooperative activities in such areas as economics, trade, investment, education-training, and people-to-people exchanges.
“Bulgaria always stands ready to serve as a bridge to bring Viet Nam closer to the EU and function as a gateway for Vietnamese commodities to penetrate into Europe,” said President Rosen Plevneliev.
He also took the occasion to seek Viet Nam’s support for closer cooperation with other ASEAN member states./.
