VN, Malaysia beef up construction linkages

VGP – Malaysia wants to cement and deepen the bilateral linkages, especially in social housing construction, with Viet Nam, said former Malaysian PM Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung on October 30 in Ha Noi hosted a reception for former Malaysian PM Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who is on a working visit to Viet Nam.

The Vietnamese Government chief highly valued the positive contributions of the Malaysian ex-PM to the development of the bilateral ties.

He hoped that the guest leader would continue to serve for the  finer ties between Viet Nam and Malaysia; as well as the building of an ASEAN community and maintainance of peace, stability and free navigation in the East Sea.

The former Malaysian PM said that Viet Nam and Malaysia share quite a few similarities, which can enable one to support the other during the development process.

Former PM Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi affirmed that he would spare no effort to nuture the bilateral ties.

For his part, PM Nguyen Tan Dung asserted that Viet Nam always hopes to shake hands with Malaysia in contruction of social housing and hails Malaysian investors joining the field./.
