The agreement was reached yesterday in Vientiane, Laos between the two PMs at a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the ongoing regional summits.
The two leaders were pleased at the developments in the two countries’ friendly relations and all-around cooperation in all fields, especially after the Second Joint Cabinet Meeting on October 27, 2012.
They reached consensus on the protection of environment and water security resources in the Mekong River and on supporting the ASEAN’s Six-Point Principles on the East Sea.
PM Dung asserted that the Vietnamese Government always creates favorable conditions for Thai enterprises to do long-term business in Viet Nam.
He hoped that the Thai Government would continue to encourage the business community to invest more in Viet Nam especially in the Central Region to tap the potentials of the East-West Economic Corridor./.
