The Ministry of Transport will be responsible for coordinating with other relevant ministries and agencies to implement the Protocol.
The Government has assigned Minister of Transport Đinh La Thăng to sign the Protocol at the upcoming 17th ASEAN Transport Ministers’ Meeting to be held in Cambodia from December 15-16 this year.
The ASEAN Framework Agreement on Services aims to boost cooperation in services among member states in order to raise the efficiency and competitiveness of the sector.
Under the agreement, ASEAN has significantly abolished barriers against trade in services.
