The MCST schedules to host Việt Nam’s Cultural Days in Denmark in Q3, 2011 in Denmark – Illustration photo

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) is in charge of signing and implementing the program which will receive over DKK 2.6 million in non-refundable aid from the Danish Government.

In addition, the MCST will be responsible for  realizing the second phase of the project “Dialogues between cultural managers and cultural policy makers” with the Danish Government’s support.

Denmark’s Strategy for Bilateral Development with Việt Nam in the 2006-2010 period mentioned the need to set up specific plans to support cultural activities and encourage social involvement in this field in Việt Nam.

So far, five out of seven projects stipulated in the Strategy have been implemented with positive outcomes gained, including the Danish Vietnamese Regional and Ethnic Cultural Fund, the Exchange Fund, projects on dialogues between cultural managers and policy makers, art education, and children culture./.
