The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in collaboration with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Science and Technology were assigned to implement the ADB-funded project with partners from other regional countries.
According the official website of the ADB, the R-CDTA will conduct prefeasibility studies and develop human and institutional capacity for sectors, including the private sector.
Under the R-CDTA, new technologies developed and adopted in the rural context elsewhere will be pilot tested to acquire knowledge for scaling up in the proposed regional investment project in the ADB pipeline.
The R-CDTA targets to enhance capacity for efficient utilization of biomass for scale-up production of clean bio-energy and organic soil amendments./.
