VN seeks WB’s credit for Mekong Delta’s irrigation project
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has agreed to form an inter-ministerial delegation to negotiate with the World Bank on a credit agreement for an irrigation management project in the Mekong Delta.

Accordingly, the delegation includes representatives from Office of Government, Presidential Office, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the State Bank of Việt Nam (SBV).
The Government chief assigned Mr. Đoàn Hoài Anh-Deputy Director General of the SBV International Relations Department to be head of the delegation.
Negotiation is scheduled to take place within one week, starting from April 27, 2011.
SBV is responsible for reporting the outcomes of the negotiation to the PM.
