Under the development scheme, three international border gates, one railway border gate and nine key (check nhe vi em ko gui tieng viet, chi doan the) border gates will be opened and upgraded in the Central Highlands Region, the Southeastern Region and the Southwestern Region. Auxilary borders gates will be opened in an appropriate time.  

Under the plan, by 2020, the system of international border gates and key border gates between Viet Nam and Cambodia will include complex control houses, national border gates, inter-transport roads, as well as functional areas.

Modern equipment will be installed to connect all international border gates and key border gates between the two countries./.
