Vinh Yen recognized as Grade-II City
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung has approved the recognition of Vinh Yen in northern Vinh Phuc Province as the Grade-II City.
Vinh Yen acts as an administrative, politic, economic and cultural centre of Vinh Phuc province.
Over the past three years, the city achieved an average economic growth rate of 18.11% and a GDP per capita of around US$4,060. Its urbanization reaches 86.86%.
