CRSD framework for resettlement approved

VGP – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has ratified the resettlement policy framework  for the Coastal Resources for Sustainable Development (CRSD) Project funded by the World Bank (WB). 

Central Committee for sustainable poverty reduction established

VGP – The Government has decided to establish a Central Steering Committee for Sustainable Poverty Reduction, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh.

National investment promotion programs regulated

VGP - The PM has issued a regulation on building and implementing national investment promotion programs, which will take effect from July 25.

VN intends to join Hague Conference on Private International Law

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung agreed with the Ministry of Justice’s proposal to join the Hague Conference on Private International Law.

Govt’ to adjust WB-funded project for Mekong Delta

VGP – The Government has agreed with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development’s proposal to restructuring and expanding the Agriculture Competitiveness Project, which is sponsored by the World Bank for provinces in the Mekong Delta.

Australia provides aid for climate change adaptation

VGP – The Government has approved the non-refundable aid worth AUD 8 million from the Australian Government for the National Target Program to Respond to Climate Change and the Support Program to Respond to Climate Change in Vietnam in the 2012-2013 period.

Public Private Partnership Support Program approved

VGP – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has ratified the Vietnam Public Private Partnership Support Program, worth US $22 million, of which US $20 million is funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Family development strategy passed

VGP – Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved the Vietnam Family Development Strategy through 2020 with a vision to 2030.
