ADB to fund Red River Delta irrigation project
VGP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has ratified the portfolio of a technical assistance project for the upgrade of an irrigation system in the central and northeastern Red River Delta.

The project, worth of US $1 billion will be freely funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will be responsible for collecting comments from related agencies for the project, finalizing related documents and ratifying it, and deploying the project.
The Government chief has tasked the State Bank of Việt Nam to work with the ADB to sign an agreement on the technical assistance project.
The project will be implemented within 24 months in four provinces of Bắc Ninh, Bắc Giang, Vĩnh Phúc and Phú Thọ.
