The projects, to be funded by the Republic of Korea, will supply medical equipment for the general hospital of the northern province of Lào Cai and the Center of Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy of the Đà Nẵng Hospital.
The Government chief assigned the Ministry of Finance, on behalf of the Vietnamese Government, to sign the above agreement with the Republic of Korea’s side.
The 500-bed Lào Cai General Hospital was ground-broken at the end of 2008. By far, some 80% of construction volume has been completed.
The Center of Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy is designed to provide early cancer diagnosis services in the central region and central highlands.
