ADB-funded project approved
VGP – The PM has recently ratified the Second Greater Mekong Subregion Corridor Towns Development Project which borrows capital from the Asian Development Bank.

The project targets to improve and expand transport network and generate momentum for urban development in Bac Giang city (Bac Giang province), Mong Cai province (Quang Ninh province), and Sapa district (Lao Cai province) in Viet Nam.
It also aims to promote service and trade business; exploit tourism potentials; and improve environmental sanitation and urban landscape conditions, and living standards for local residents.
The project will be implemented in the 2016-2020 period with a total investment of US$121.67 million./.
