The project aims to build a canal system in Thuong Son, Binh Dinh Province to provide water for growing and planting, feeding cattle, industry, local services and improvement of the environment.

It also upgrades the irrigation system that encompasses five canals with a length of 14,290m in An Thi, Hung Yen Province to meet with the demands for agricultural production and improving the ecological environment.

The AFD will spend over €12.9 million and €5.8 million for Binh Dinh Province and Hung Yen Province, respectively. The local corresponding capital is €2.356 million (Binh Dinh) and €912,018 (Hung Yen).

The projects will be carried out during four years./.
