WB-financed projects asked to be speedy
VGP – The PM has assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the State Bank of Viet Nam, the Ministry of Finance and other related agencies to rapidly implement the World Bank-funded projects.
The ministries have been asked to consider, ratify and sign agreements for projects in the 2014 fiscal year to guarantee that the International Development Association (IDA) fund allocated to Viet Nam will be disbursed as scheduled along with supplying sufficient corresponding capital for these projects.
These agencies are requested to cooperate with the WB to accelerate the implementation and fund disbursement of the projects as well as set up the criteria for IDA 17 period./.
