The Government chief made the statement during his meeting with Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid in Ha Noi on Monday.
President Abdul Hamid expressed his pleasure to visit Viet Nam, saying Viet Nam is a very friendly country.
Both sides exchanged measures to further develop the bilateral ties, especially trade, investment and tourism in the coming time.
They agreed to lift up the two way trade value to US$1 billion by next year from US$800 million in 2014.
President Abdul Hamid shared Viet Nam's deep concern over the recent developments in the East Sea, affirming the importance of ensuring peace, stability, security, safety and freedom of navigation and aviation in the East Sea.
All disputes must be settled on the basis of international law, including the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, said President Abdul Hamid, adding that relevant parties need to strictly implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea and work toward the conclusion of a Code of Conduct in the East Sea.
The Bangladeshi President said that his country greatly respects President Ho Chi Minh who inspired his country to seek ways to national liberation./.
