The resolutions also ratify the number of deputies to be elected at each constituency for the people’s councils of 63 cities and provinces.
Under the resolutions, Hồ Chí Minh City has 32 electoral constituencies, the largest number. It is followed by the central province of Thanh Hóa with 31 and Hà Nội with 30.
Two localities having the highest number of deputies to be elected are Hồ Chí Minh City and Hà Nội with 95 each.
