Institutional reform project for 2011-2020 to be launched
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has recently required the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) by May this year to submit to the Government a draft Project on institutional reform and enhanced coordination in macro-economic management for 2011-2020 period.
The draft project must clarify the targets and requirements, specific content and outcomes, ways of implementation, the Government chief said.
Earlier, PM Dũng on February 28 asked the MPI to closely work with the Office of Government to study proposals made by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), then develop the project and submit it to the Government for approval prior to November 30, 2011.
The project is part of the Government’s continued effort to improve the country’s business environment and national competitiveness for fast and sustainable development.
In the 2007-2010 period, the Cabinet had deployed a Project on streamlining administrative procedures (Project 30 in short).
