VN-Luxembourg cooperation program to be realized
VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has recently asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MoPI) to work with relevant agencies to map out specific programs and projects to realize the Việt Nam-Luxembourg cooperation program for the 2011-2015 period.

The MoPI is responsible for reviewing the disbursement process and finalizing necessary procedures for Luxembourg-donated projects on rural development.
Earlier, Luxembourg pledged to provide EUR 42 million for Việt Nam to implement socio-economic development goals in the period of 2011-2015. This is the third program after EUR 35 million in non-refundable aid in the 2001-2005 period (first program) and EUR 50 million in the 2006-2010 period (second program).
The third program continues to focus on poverty reduction through improving social infrastructure like healthcare, rural development, human resources, and institutional capacity building.
