MARD undertakes Holland-donated project on afforestation
VGO – The Government chief, on August 8, accepted the Program “Integrating forestry surveys and capacity increasing into national and international development programs.”
| The PM gave nod to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to take over the Program, stage II, a component of the Program “Development and research for preservation and sustainable use of tropical rains in Việt Nam’. The non-fundable project, worth of € 1 million, donated by the Netherlands’ Tropenbos International (TBI), will be under implementation in 2008-11 across the northern central region (from Nghệ An to Thừa Thiên Huế). MARD was entrusted to ink the project contract with the donor and endorse it in line with the current regulations. By Hương Giang |
