When coming into operation, the Port can save about US $8-10 per ton of cargo in terms of freight because the current transport costs for cargo between Cần Thơ and Hồ Chí Minh City are quite high. | | | PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng presses the button to kick-start the construction of the Cái Cui Port, Cần Thơ City, July 11 – Photo: Vietnam Online | The Cái Cui Port is invested by the Việt Nam National Shipping Lines, with two stages of construction.
