PM Dung talks with White House Chief of Staff
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung on Friday talked on the phone with President Barack Obama’s Chief of Staff, Denis McDonough, about concrete measures to accelerate the bilateral relations and TPP negotiations.

Both sides stressed the importance of beefing up the comprehensive partnership between Viet Nam and the US and continued efforts to strengthen the bilateral ties, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, investment as well as exchange of high-level contacts.
The two countries affirmed their determination to closely coordinate for early conclusion of the TPP talks in accordance with the Honolulu Joint Statement on a comprehensive and balanced agreement which takes into account the diversity of levels of development of members like Viet Nam.
