PM Dũng welcomes Swiss gov’t official
VGP – Việt Nam is willing to boost up its economic and commercial ties with Switzerland and hopes to receive more assistance for training high-quality manpower, said PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng during his reception to Swiss State Secretary for Economic Affairs Jean Daniel Gerber today in Hà Nội.
| PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng warmly welcomed the working visit of the Swiss business delegation led by Mr. Jean Daniel Gerber. The host leader took the occasion to highly speak of Switzerland’s supports for Việt Nam in economic development, affirming that Swiss ODA has been fruitfully poured in poverty reduction, healthcare, rural development and environment protection. There are open doors for the two countries’ closer cooperation in economics, trade and investment, the Vietnamese PM added. Responding to Switzerland’s proposal for bilateral free trade agreement negotiations, the PM assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to establish a task force to in-depth feasible study with the Swiss partner. v Mr. Jean Daniel Gerber pledged to push on bilateral commercial and economic relations and assist the host country to develop its financial market and stabilize the macro-economy./.
