Mozambique’s PM Luisa Dias Diogo hailed Việt Nam’s socio-economic achievements, particularly in poverty reduction during the past 20 years of renovation. After briefing the socio-economic realities in Mozambique, the guest expressed her desire to boost up cooperation with Việt Nam in such fields as agriculture, education and healthcare.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng affirmed that Việt Nam will further cement cooperation with Mozambique to realize the agreements gained by the two countries during Party chief Nông Đức Mạnh’s visit to Mozambique in April 2008. “Việt Nam is willing to dispatch experts, enterprises and workers to Mozambique for long-lasting cooperation of mutual interests, so as to help Mozambique develop its agriculture, fishery, healthcare, and education”, he stressed.

The two leaders agreed to speed up the formulation and operation of the Việt Nam-Mozambique Inter-governmental Committee.
