The number of foreigners to Viet Nam surged 20.4% in November, reaching 723,740, the Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism has reported.

It was feasible to achieve the gross domestic product rate of 6.5% this year, paving the way for higher economic growth next year, PM Dung said.

PM Dung urged inferior levels to continue efforts to facilitate production, expand export markets, control trade deficit, and accelerate industrial development.

He also asked for strict fines against acts of intentionally tax evasion and tax cheating as well as thorough preparations for the deployment of the 2016 socioeconomic development plan right from the dawn of the year.

The Government will convene a national conference to discuss ways to realize the 2016 socioeconomic development plan, according to PM Dung.

PM Dung tasked inferior levels to double efforts in administrative reform and improving business environment and to further enhance information technology application in State agencies in order to create significant changes in these domains next year.

Regarding the equitization of State owned enterprises, PM Dung called for quick recovery of State capital to finance other important areas like infrastructure development.

The Government chief also requested adequate allocation of resources for the two key national programs on sustainable poverty reduction and rural area building./.
