PM lauds VN-India cooperation in military field

VNGOP – Receiving Indian Minister of National Defense A.K Antony yesterday, December 17, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng affirmed that the Vietnamese Government will do its best to bring the friendship and strategic cooperation between the two countries to a new height.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng showed his confidence that the official visit to Việt Nam of Minister A.K Antony and his entourage will help boost the friendship, strategic cooperation, mutual trust and understanding between Việt Nam and India in general and between their armed forces in particular.

The head of the Government suggested the Indian and Vietnamese Ministries of National Defense to enhance their particular and practical mutual assistance, especially in training commanders and officers.

Minister A.K Antony was convinced that, on the basis of the two countries’ high political determination, the bilateral relationship between Việt Nam and India as well as between the two ministries of national defense will further develop.

Earlier, Minister A.K Antony had a working session with leaders of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense, in which the two sides agreed to found the joint working team in charge of negotiations for the cooperative minutes between the two ministries.
