Meeting the Indonesian President, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng congratulated the successful election of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) in Indonesia.
The two leaders agreed to boost up the friendly and multifaceted bilateral cooperation in all fields and assign the two countries’ competent agencies to early establish a joint mechanism for fishing and naval patrol in the overlapping and adjoining water territories.

During the meeting with his Malaysian counterpart, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng was convinced that Malaysia will successfully realize its Vision 2020 to become a prominent country in the region.
The two government chiefs were unanimous in cementing the bilateral ties, particularly in trade. Malaysian enterprises are encouraged to do business in large-scale industrial parks in Việt Nam, said the Vietnamese PM.
The leaders were pleased at the beneficial cooperation in the East Sea, entrusting relevant ministries and agencies to negotiate about joint patrol and fishing.

In his encounter with the Vietnamese counterpart, Cambodian PM Hun Sen expressed his gratitude to the Vietnamese Government for supplying Cambodia with electricity power at stable prices, regarding this as an effective support for ensuring the energy security in Cambodia.
The two leaders approved to complete the process of border demarcation and landmark planting on schedule.
