Former PM Jean Chrétien stated that, during their working visit to Việt Nam, he and his entourage will attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hồ Chàm Tourist Resort in Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province and other trade promotion activities in order to strengthen economic ties between the business communities of the two countries.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng pledged to facilitate the Canada-invested project and highlighted that Việt Nam always welcomes Canadian investors.

The Hồ Chàm Tourist Resort, fully invested by Canada’s ACDL Computers Inc. with US$ 4.2 billion, will be started on May 24.

Earlier, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng had received the leaving Italian Ambassador Alfedo Matacotta Cordella.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng highly spoke of Ambassador Alfedo Matacotta Cordella’s role and contributions to the drastic development in all fields of cooperation between the two countries. The PM also hopes that the diplomat will further contribute to the two countries’ relations.
