PM receives Cuban Minister of Finances and Prices

PM Dung hailed the Cuban minister’s working visit and outcomes of her meeting with Vietnamese counterpart.

He expressed his pleasure with the sound special friendship and cooperation between Viet Nam and Cuba, as well as with great achievements of the Party, the State and the people of the Latin American country in building, developing and protecting their country.

PM Dung affirmed that the Party, the State and the people of Viet Nam consistently do their utmost to deepen the friendship with Cuba more comprehensively and effectively.

The sound multifaceted cooperation between the two countries have brought interests to both sides and potential is great when Cuba is enhancing innovation, updating development model and escaping from long sanctions, the leader said.

Both sides should exchange and address existing issues and build a new cooperation plan with detailed contents in order to bring bilateral relations into a new development phase at a higher level, on a wider scale and with more effectiveness, PM Dung added.

He conveyed his greetings and best wishes to Cuban leaders and wished Cuba to achieve further victories in national construction and development.

Rodriguez expressed her pleasure to visit Viet Nam on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations. She stressed that the bilateral friendship has been unceasingly strengthened while political trust and mutual understanding between the two countries have been deepened.

She expressed her gratitude for Viet Nam’s effective support to Cuba in national construction and development and briefed the PM on outcomes of her visit.

She said that the two ministries signed a memorandum of understanding in cooperation in the next five years, laying a basis for elevating financial cooperation to a new height and contributing to promoting all-round relations between the two countries.

The Cuban minister also affirmed that she will raise PM Dung’s suggestions to the Cuban Government right after she returns home.
