PM receives US Eximbank President
VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng had a reception on August 23 to Mr. James Lambright, President of the United States Export and Import Bank (US Eximbank) who is on a working visit to Việt Nam.
| After briefing the country’s high economic growth rate in recent years, especially the increasing export-import turnover between Việt Nam and the US, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stated that the US Eximbank’s presence in Việt Nam will bring about benefits for the two countries. The PM asked the US Eximbank to provide more preferential credits for Việt Nam to develop national aviation, especially opening direct long air routes to the US, launch the telecommunication satellite Vinasat and construct power plants and infrastructure. Eximbank President James Lambright high valued Việt Nam’s economic growth. He pledged to broaden Eximbank’s activities in Việt Nam and provide the country with most preferential loans./.
