Deputy PM Jayakumar asserted that Việt Nam and Singapore are fruitfully bridged in economy, trade, investment and now should collaborate and share experience in building laws in line with international practices and for the sake of sustainable growth.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng emphasized that Việt Nam is trying to perfect her institutions in three major fields: A market economy suitable to the country's conditions and international conventions; people's freedom and democracy to build up a law-ruled state of people, by people and for people; social order and security as well as fighting against crimes.

Thus, the Vietnamese judicial sector should increase its cooperation with Singapore, other ASEAN nations and all countries in the world, said the PM.

On the same day, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng had a cordial reception to welcome Mr. Hever Bolot, newly-appointed French Ambassador to Việt Nam.

The PM expressed his desire that the friendship between Việt Nam and France will be cemented and deepened in the coming time.

Ambassador Hever Bolot pledged to do his utmost to consolidate and promote the bilateral ties.
