PM starts visit to Belgium

VGP - PM Nguyen Tan Dung on December 1 left Paris, France, and arrived in the Brussels Military Airport, starting his working visit to Belgium and the EU.

The PM was welcomed at the airport by Ambassador to Belgium Vuong Thua Phong, who is also head of the Vietnamese Delegation to the EU, the Vietnamese Embassy’s staff and representatives of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

PM Nguyen Tan Dung held a meeting with the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Belgium.

The PM briefed them of the nation’s socio-economic performance and achievements, attributing these results to efforts of the whole Party, army and people, including contributions of overseas Vietnamese, an integral part of the nation.

His working visit to Belgium and the EU is aimed at exchanging measures to promote effective cooperation between Viet Nam and Belgium as well as between Viet Nam and the EU, he revealed.

He expected that staff of the Vietnamese Embassy will enhance solidarity and strive to successfully realize their assigned tasks and overseas Vietnamese in Belgium will continue to perform their role in enhancing the relations between Viet Nam and Belgium in all fields.
