PM to address Paris climate summit

French President Francois Hollande told newspaper a head of the talks that "The fate of mankind is on the agenda at this conference."
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the French President called for a "universal and binding" agreement to come out of the talks.
He conveyed thanks to countries around the world for siding with France against the recent terrorist attacks in Paris, saying that the biggest challenges facing the world today are terrorism and consequences caused by climate change.
Meanwhile, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon stressed that the success of the COP 21 depends on the world leaders and people across the world are expecting their vision and courage to grasp this historic moment.
COP 21, joined by 150 world leaders, is expected to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement on climate with the aim of keeping global warming below 2°C./.
