PM welcomes new Malaysian Ambassadress
VNGOP –PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on August 27 had a reception with Ms. Lim Kim Eng, the newly-appointed Ambassadress Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Việt Nam.
| PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng showed his delight at the cooperation and friendship between Việt Nam and Malaysia. In recent years, the two-way trade turnover between the two countries has continuously increased and Malaysia now ranks third among ASEAN nations investing in Việt Nam. The Government head stressed that Việt Nam will do her best to deepen the bilateral relationship. The Vietnamese Government always encourages Malaysian investors to do business in Việt Nam, especially in steel production, oil and gas, electricity, and real estate, said the PM. He agreed with Ambassadress Lim Kim Eng’s suggestions about the bilateral cooperation in education and training. The Ambassadress confirmed that Malaysia always attaches importance to the ties with Việt Nam. She pledged to contribute to the relationship between the two countries and expressed her desire that the Vietnamese Government will assist her to fulfill all assignments during her ambassadorship.
