Stock exchange to be founded in Hà Nội
VGP- PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on January 2 allowed the Hà Nội Securities Trading Center (HASTC) turn into the Hà Nội Stock Exchange.

Under the PM’s Decision 01/2009/QD-TTg, the Hà Nội Stock Exchange will operate as a State-owned one-member liability limited company.
The Stock Exchange is in charge of managing stock transactional market.
The Stock Exchange will inherit all rights and obligations from the HASTC as well as complying with the Securities Law and the Enterprise Law and other related legal documents.
It has a charter capital of VND 1 trillion (around US $58.8 million).

HASTC was founded on July 11, 1998. Administered by the State Securities Commission (SSC), HASTC mainly manage and control the stock trading, supervise stock transitional system, provide assistant services, and register securities.
