The first project aims to strengthen the capacity of launching, evaluating and checking the implementation of the National Strategy and Program on Gender Equality. The project, funded with US$2,383,034, will be realized by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affair. 

The second project, with the aim of enhancing women’s capacity in responding to climate change, will be carried out by the Viet Nam Women’s Union through an aid of US$1,303,260.

The corresponding capital for these two projects will be drawn from the annual budget of the host agencies.

The PM assigned these agencies to cooperate with UN Women in Viet Nam and relevant agencies to establish, ratify and sign the annual Action Plan and implement the projects as regulated by laws.
