In the talks this morning, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng stated that the bilateral cooperation between Việt Nam and Morocco is upgraded, not only in economics but also culture, health and education.

Since 2001, the two countries have exchanged many delegations at all echelons and inked the Framework Agreement on Economic, Cultural, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.

In March this year, at the 1 st meeting of the Việt Nam-Morocco Joint Committee held in Rabat, the two sides signed an MoU on measures to speed up multifaceted cooperation.

The host PM also urged the two countries to diversify fields of cooperation, such as creating a legal corridor for economic cooperation; drafting documents on avoiding double taxation; enhancing cooperation in agriculture, husbandry, transportation, irrigation, and banking.

PM Dũng expressed his hope to see the establishment of the trilateral partnership between Việt Nam, Japan and Morocco, focusing on aquaculture.

He asked Morocco to recognize Việt Nam’s market economy and deepen cooperation in petroleum and fertilizer production.

PM Abbas El Fassi, for his part, shared lessons and experience gained by Morocco during its national construction.

Showing his admiration to the Vietnamese people, the guest hoped that the bilateral cooperation between the two countries would bloom, for the sake of the two nations.

On the occasion, an agreement on avoiding double taxation was signed by the Ministers of Finance of the two countries.
