VN National Museum of History to be set up

GP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on Monday signed a decision on the establishment of the Vietnam National Museum of History by merging the National Museum of Vietnamese History and  the National Museum of Vietnamese Revolution.

The Vietnam National Museum of History will be managed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The National Museum of Vietnamese History has an exhibition area of over 2,200 m2 showcasing nearly 7,000 original artifacts.

Many are valuable items, especially the collections of objects belonging to ancients cultures like Hòa Bình-Bắc Sơn, Đông Sơn, Vietnamese ancient glazed ceramics, Champa stone sculptures, and bronze items under the Lê-Nguyễn Dynasties will be displayed there.
