VN, Tanzania want to convert potentials into reality

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and his Tanzanian counterpart Mezengo Peter Pinda on March 29 agreed to direct respective ministries and sectors to early take specific measures for closer cooperation in the fields of common potential.

The two government leaders made the statement at their talks in Hà Nội during PM Mezengo Peter Pinda’s official visit to Việt Nam which takes place in coincidence with the 45 th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

Tanzania wants to revitalize the traditional relations and comprehensive cooperation with Việt Nam, especially in trade, agriculture, healthcare and education, affirmed Tanzanian PM Mezengo Peter Pinda.

He also showed interest in Việt Nam’s experience of combating malaria and producing medicines against the disease.

Responding to the guest’s suggestions, the Vietnamese Government chief stated that Việt Nam stands ready to share its know-hows of economic development, infrastructure construction, education, healthcare, agriculture, and poverty reduction.

Especially, the two PMs were unanimous in instructing their inferiors to early realize the signed agreements and ink new ones in such fields as agriculture, healthcare, and investment encouragement and protection.

Right after their talks, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and Tanzanian PM Mezengo Peter Pinda witnessed the signing ceremony of the Agreement on Visa Exemption for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders between Việt Nam and Tanzania, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Consultation Mechanism between the two Foreign Ministries and a ceremony in which the Việt Nam Engine and Agricultural Machinery Corporation presents some tractors to Tanzania./.
