VN ready to cement ties with Pakistan, Bangladesh

VGP – Welcoming newly appointed Ambassadors Shahid M. G.Kiani and Supradip Chakma from Pakistan and Bangladesh respectively today, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng hoped that the two diplomats would spare no effort to expand the cooperative relations between their countries with Việt Nam.

PM Dũng affirmed Việt Nam’s consistent policy to consolidate and enhance the bilateral ties with both South Asian countries.

Next year, as the rotating President of ASEAN, Việt Nam would foster the reliable ties between the association and the rest of the world, he pledged.

Việt Nam is prepared to negotiate and conclude a free trade agreement with Pakistan while it is looking for specific economic projects with Bangladesh, said the Government chief.

Both Ambassadors Shahid M. G.Kiani and Supradip Chakma committed to their high iron will and efforts to deepen the current bilateral ties.
