PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng asserted that the cooperation between Việt Nam and the EU is developing well, bringing about many benefits. The EU is Việt Nam’s top important partner. At present, the two sides are actively drafting an agreement on cooperation and partnership. Việt Nam has set up an overall program to enhance its ties with the EU, revealed the PM.

He expressed his belief that Ambassador Sean Doyle would make great contributions to the Việt Nam-EU cooperation.

Mr. Sean Doyle highlighted Việt Nam as an active partner of the EU and confirmed that the EU is willing to work with Việt Nam in the fields of energy, environment, and climate change. He believed that the EU President’s upcoming visit to Việt Nam will mark a new development in the bilateral relationship./.
