General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh and PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng affirmed that Việt Nam would do its utmost to consolidate and strengthen the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties and two states.

PM Dũng also lauded the good cooperation between Việt Nam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Cuban Ministry of Basic Industry and expressed his hope that the two ministries would expand their cooperation to other fields, especially mining, oil exploitation, petrochemistry, electricity, and construction.

Minister Yadira Garcia Vera briefed the Vietnamese leaders the results of her working sessions with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Việt Nam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), and the Electricity Việt Nam (EVN). She pledged to build up an exemplary cooperation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade./.
