VGP – In 2008, 1,535,000 people in Việt Nam have got new jobs and 85,000 guest workers sent to other countries (60% to high-income markets). Through the national employment fund, over VND 1,550 billion has been spent to help generate more than 25,000 jobs. The number of employees having social insurance has increased by 1.2%, reaching 8.3 million.
