Deputy PM Nguyễn Văn Ninh will head the National Steering Committee.

The committee will consult and assist the PM in guiding, cooperating, leading, inspecting and realizing the mechanism to ensure the compliance of the Agreement and Protocol signed with ASEAN.

The Committee will help the Government and the PM direct, harmonize and cooperate with relevant ministries, agencies and organizations to carry out the mechanism.

According to Decision No. 48/2011/QĐ-TTg on pioneering the National One-door Customs Mechanism, the mechanism allows:

a) Exports and imports submit or send standard information and vouchers to the only reception location

b) State agencies process data and information and make decision based on synchronous process and procedures, send decisions to the system of the State agency

c) Việt Nam Customs will make the final decision on emancipating export, import and transit products or vehicles in exit, enter and transit based on the State agencies’ decisions.
