Gov’t assists localities to overcome storm consequences
VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung has decided to provide VND140 billion from the central contingency fund for 11 localities to overcome the consequences of the storm which swept through the North in mid-September.
The beneficiaries are Lang Son, Ha Giang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Dien Bien, Bac Kan, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Hai Duong and Lai Chau.
The money will be used to support storm-hit residents, restore production, and repair essential infrastructure works.
