Gov’t chief receives Mongolian and Indonesian Ambassadors

VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng had separate receptions this afternoon, June 10, with leaving Mongolian Ambassador Baasanjav Ganbold and newly-appointed Indonesian Ambassador Pitono Purnomo.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng highlighted Việt Nam’s consistent policy to attach importance to relations with all countries, including Mongolia and Indonesia. He added that Việt Nam and these countries should enhance cooperation not only in economy, trade, investment but also cultural exchange.

The Government chief expressed the desire that Mongolia would grant favorable conditions to Vietnamese investors in such fields as petroleum, mining, and industries.

Receiving new Indonesian Ambassador Pitono Purnomo, PM Dũng proposed some aspects for bilateral cooperation, including joint patrol on sea and aquaculture. He hoped that the two countries could speed up negotiations for the demarcation of exclusive economic zones.

Mongolian diplomat Baasanjav Ganbold affirmed that Mongolia always places importance on the comprehensive relationship with Việt Nam as well as expects Việt Nam to be the gateway to ASEAN.

Newly-appointed Ambassador Pitono Purnomo pledged to do his utmost to foster the Indonesia- Việt Nam relations, especially the cooperation in agriculture.
