Gov’t leaders meet voters
VNGOP – Before entering the upcoming 3rd session of the 12th National Assembly in May, the Government leaders had meetings on April 11 with voters in many localities in order to listen to their aspiration and directly respond to some proposals.

The main concerns of the voters are infrastructure development in Hải Phòng; conversion of rice-cultivation lands into industrial areas; implementation of social policies; administrative reforms; compensation for site clearance; judicial reforms; and solutions for the current truancy among students. The majority of voters in Hải Phòng showed their confidence that the Government would successfully curb inflation, stabilize the macro-economy, ensure social security, and speed up the country’s socio-economic development and world economic integration. After briefing and thoroughly analyzing Việt Nam’s advantages and difficulties, PM Dũng stressed that all difficulties are temporary and advantages are great. The Government chief requested all walks of life in the city to do their best and proactively take part in fulfilling socio-economic goals of the country and the city. The PM also cleared up answers of some voters relating to the planning of farming land, enterprises tax, employment for students, social welfare for the poor, and loans for disadvantaged students. Earlier, Deputy PM Hùng had paid an inspection tour to some projects carried out in Vũng Áng, one of the keynote economic zones for the development of Hà Tĩnh Province and the northern part of Central Việt Nam as a whole.
