Both the host and the guest showed their pleasure at the strong development of the comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and Australia.

PM Dũng expressed his gratitude to ODA given by the Australian Government to Việt Nam, hoping that Australia keeps supporting the Vietnamese community in Australia.

The Government chief also suggested the two countries promote their cooperation in culture, education, training and tourism. He was convinced that the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Việt Nam and Australia will continuously develop.

Mr. Paul Keating showed his deep impression on Việt Nam’s development and confirmed to continue making efforts to nurture the bilateral relations.

In the same afternoon, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng hosted the Republic of Korea’s Minister of Land, Transport & Maritime Affairs Chung Jong Hwan.

Highly applauding close ties between Việt Nam’s Ministry of Transport and the RoK Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs, PM Dũng affirmed that Việt Nam always grant favorable conditions to RoK investors to do business in Việt Nam. Finally, he recommended the two ministries to exchange more senior ministerial-level missions and work on new cooperative projects.
